The past few mornings here in Charlotte have been in the low-to-mid 30s, so that makes it even crazier to think that it was just Sunday afternoon when we were at the park with our friends in short-sleeved tees and flip flops. Gotta love this unpredictable Southern weather!
We packed the cars up with the dogs, some blankets, and a frisbee and headed down the road to a nearby park. The sunshine felt perfect. Absolutely perfect.
This photo below just makes me laugh. Ian took it, and look at that pregnant gal stance in the background.
Zoomed in. I didn't know I had the typical preggo-posture down to a tee until I saw this photo.
Pregnant mamas of toddlers and kiddos, I have mad respect for you. Getting down on the ground was hard, and getting back up was ... frankly, probably hilarious to witness.
The guys threw a football and a frisbee while the gals and kids hung out on the quilt. And the dogs, able to play off-leash, were in pure doggie heaven.
Little did we know that the next day, I'd come home from work to find sleet on the ground. The sunny weather was short-lived, but it sure was fun while it lasted!
